TARGETED COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Kowloon, Hong Kong

Cross-Platforms Targeted Communications Manager develops fact-based, cost-effective targeted communication customer strategies across channels - both social and owned, and help the organizations realize significant performance gains by continuously measuring and managing the outcome. Success is achieved by mastering the essential capabilities needed to attract and retain customers. These include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and shaping demand for the organization’s offerings to accelerate financial returns and growth
  • Using foresight and customer insights to deploy marketing communication journeys most efficiently and effectively
  • Creating distinctive, compelling and consistent branded experiences to attract and retain members
  • Harnessing talent and technology to capitalize on the key value-creating capabilities
  • Understanding the relationship between marketing and business performance, and develop programs to exploit this relationship 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES: 

Targeted Communications

1.     Targeted channels (Email, sms and targeted social)

  • Work with various category teams, business team, functions team to develop the monthly plans, driving revenue growth
  • Ensure content that is on brand, on brief across multiple teams
  • Continuously monitor and analyse performance data and optimising on-going activities to drive revenue targets
  • Plan, select Audience & execute the targeted communications for the campaigns with digital content team.
  • Develop and execute strategy for triggered communications to retain and grow members’ loyalty, and targeted lifecycle marketing communication to increase customer LTV
  •  Learn from the global and local platform owners to drive HK Targeted Communications requirements and roadmap
  • Develop accurate business result reporting

2.     Owned Channels

  • Develop communication and contact policy for each owned channel
  • Work with the Membership / business and Brand category teams to design the right offers/content to the right customers
  • Work with the global and local platform owners to drive Greater China Targeted Communications requirements

Consumer Knowledge

  • Coordinating with business stakeholders to translate business needs to data pulls
  • Building consumer segmentation based on consumer activity data from various sources
  • Identify the right customer segment for each communications
  • Provide analytic base on the performance and generate actionable business insights
  • Coordinating tasks with other analytic resources and QAing results

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience in related industry; experience in FMCG industry is an advantage
  • A confident and pragmatic leader who is experienced in dealing with high pressure, multi-point of contact, and multi-agency
  • Experience of working within a matrix management structure working collaboratively across functions; rich experience in dealing with global and regional counterparts in communicating market specific requirements
  • Detail-oriented and strategically nimbleability to deal with ambiguity; effectively interface and develop internal partnerships
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a must
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are essential; good people acumen and interpersonal skills
