Product/Margin Planning Manager

About the role

This is a role within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, responsible for Nike’s South East Asia & India territory, based in Singapore. The role reports directly into the Senior Finance Director, Nike South East Asia & India and will be required to manage an analyst that reports into this role.

As Territory Product/Margin planning lead, you will proactively identify the revenue and margin implications of business decisions throughout the seasonal planning process and articulate solutions that meet the needs of business partners. You'll track and evaluate margin attainment each season and work with Pricing, Merchandising, Demand & Supply Management and Sales teams on scenario plans to improve margins.  You will provide ad hoc margin analysis to the team encompassing price-point and cost-component analysis and be a strategic business partner to influence price and demand.  Additionally, you will show excellent communication to glean marketplace insights in partnership with Merchandising and product insights in concert with the APLA Geo Category Planning Finance Team.  You will help drive the Gross Pricing Margin and Gross Margin forecast and be responsible for managing the monthly territory margin submission and reporting.


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated high-performer who shows separation from peers
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication/influencing skills
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial models
  • Proven experience in effectively supporting and working with senior leadership
  • Experience leading projects and people
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills


  • 5+ years experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting preferred
  • MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus
