Nike Store Partner - Territory Merchant

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop Nike stores annual/seasonal merchandising plans that support & lead the growth/expansion of the Nike direct offense
  • Drive & support the seasonal product, merchandising and brand strategy with key NSP partners to land the merchandising vision in retail
  • Ensure that the concept assortments deliver against the Nike direct offense for stores
  • Partners with brand and Nike direct geo merchants to champion the service & experience model for the consumer across stores
  • Scale and adapt cross category edited offer from Geo NSP merch to territory store cluster assortments
  • Lead and educate cross functional and geo teams on NSP seasonal merchandise plans, in-season tracking & hind-sighting
  • Ensure harmonization with the rest of mono-brand & multi-brand market-wide assortments
  • Partner with mono-brand planning to drive key style depth to deliver to partners & highlight gaps and opportunities
  • Strong connection to the local marketplace to drive visibility to data, stories and insights
  • Travel seasonally to WHQ
Requirements for this position include - 

  • University Degree
  • Relevant experience in assortment creation – a very good level understanding of retail metrics, Sales and the assortment creation process
  • Retail acumen
  • Proven expertise in product, assortment, consumer and marketplace
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and an ability to learn new systems
  • Proven influencing and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of retailing and retail trends
  • Ability to travel
