Assistant Marketplace Merchandising Manager

Marketplace Merchandising scales category module grid to create multi-category assortment for channel/tier and or account. This role elevates Nike by ensuring the brand and category vision comes to life for consumer at retails. Also provide channel/tier and account insights for incorporation into marketplace capacity & insights.

  • Create multi-category assortments from channel/tier to account catalyzing concept through the rest of fleet.
  • Deliver geo merchandising seasonal channel, account, banner strategies, and assortments to sales.
  • Deliver assortment and investment plans for best expression assortment and store cluster assortment as needed.
  • Determine category prioritization and module investment within a channel/tier or account.
  • Determine account differentiation needs.
  • Provide channel, tier and account input into Marketplace.
  • Review bookings result and planned assortments against KPI targets at channel/account level

  • Experience in working with assortments with a focus on forward thinking 
  • Understanding of sporting goods channel and their consumers
  • Internal/External communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to suggest, negotiate and execute our plans, ideas for collaboration, etc.
  • Proficiency in English enough to communicate with Global
  • Business analysis and Strategic planning ability
  • Intermediate level for Excel and Power point
