Responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-term business strategies and market initiatives for Nike Direct Stores
Key job accountabilities
Marketplace & Consumer Analysis: Provide research and analytical support for strategic initiatives and special projects related to marketplace growth. Work independently to design and lead research projects related to market trends, consumer profiles, and competitive intelligence. Direct and execute analysis and due diligence for new business opportunities. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies.
Strategy Development & Performance Management: Coordinate the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year and the 3-year Strategic Plan at the Geography Level, and co-work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated; Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading Quarterly Business Review process.
Business Planning Process & Project Management: Coordinate major planning process milestones and deliverables; drive small-scale business planning process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and that result in all Corporate planning deliverables being met. Work with finance, category, and functional entities to prepare for quarterly checkpoints and strategic retreats. Provide project management support to cross-functional teams and other special projects of strategic importance to Nike’s growth and profitability.
