Job title: Account Management Representative (1-year Contract)
Location: Converse Canada, Montreal, QC location
Reports to: Supervisor, Account Management
As our Account Management Representative, you will:
Partner across the North America division, Sales and Supply Chain to holistically drive order management excellence.
Be responsible for performance and execution around specific key initiatives, door openings and account plans.
Be accountable for resolving complex customer issues by identifying business improvements and shipping performance to optimize order flow.
Proactively engage with internal and external business partners across the supply chain to ensure successful order management execution.
Build the perfect order, this will require working knowledge of SAP, sales programs, order edit accuracy
Understand, analyze, and viewed as an expert in account management processes. Deliver information based on system/data analysis
Review in detail incoming customer purchase orders to ensure compliance with pricing, terms, labeling requirements and routing, etc. are met. Partner with cross functional teams to ensure compliance standards are met
Manage open, allocated and pick slip reports and make order adjustments to delivery/service information (open order, late fill, past due, etc.) to ensure that Converse executes within customer expectations and meets our financial goals
Enhance reporting to proactively support the ever changing business needs for our internal and external customers
Maintain detailed account tutorials on your top accounts including training manuals, compliance manuals, EDI details and notices received
WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years in account management within consumer good industry.
Strong skillset of ERP systems, MS Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) and BI software applications. Familiar with EDI and Warehouse systems
4-year Bachelor’s Degree
Ability to professionally communicate (verbal/written) in both official languages to a wide range of audiences across multiple levels of the organization. Excellent customer service skills and focus
Strong problem solving and strong analytical/reporting on sales data and product data. Ability to Multi-task, prioritize workloads and proactively anticipate needs.
5% - 10% travel-account visits with Regional Sales, Sales Meetings, Apparel & Footwear Trade Shows
