Working at our South Korea headquarters in Seoul, you'll join the Nike Direct Stores Team. You’ll be responsible for supporting the Nike Direct Stores (Owned & Partner) business to set, lead and implement the real estate strategy in South Korea by creating the fleet of the future. You will be reporting into the Asia Pacific/Latin America (APLA) Real Estate Director supporting Nike Direct Stores.


-Provides strategic real estate portfolio leadership, marketplace insight, operational lease negotiation excellence to deliver accretive investments, divestitures and lease savings to optimize the Nike Direct Stores portfolio.

-Coordinate territory strategic fleet review process, real estate committee (REC), store approval meeting (SAM) within the Nike planning process. Including the development of a 3-year real estate portfolio plan, annual plan and quarterly/monthly real estate reviews.

-Establish and foster a strong relationship with real estate developers, landlords and Nike partners (Legal, Real Estate, Finance, Design, Partner Management and Construction) to implement the real estate strategic plan in the marketplace.

-Provide real estate market insights and financial model support for strategic initiatives relating to market rent/sales trends, retail co-tenancy dynamics, consumer insights and competitive intelligence.

-Be a chief agent for change, connecting across the organization to drive opportunities through the real estate process, anticipating and solving hurdles along the way.

-Develop impactful presentations to communicate real estate strategic plans and visions across the Territory, Geography and Global teams in the organization.

-Geo/Nike Direct GMs (NSO/NFS, NSP)

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, post graduate degree preferred

-At least 8 years working experience, including experience in retail real estate, portfolio management, strategic planning or business development/consulting.

-Strategic mindset: proven ability to use strategic tools and frameworks to analyze complex strategic problems, develop clear recommendations and present findings

-Quantitative background: proven ability to synthesize data and analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors

-Problem-solver: ability to break down and be creative to negotiate through a successful solution

-Relationship-focused: Experience building relationships and interacting with all levels of leadership with internal and external partners

-Project leadership: proven ability to effectively scope and execute projects and to lead cross-functional teams

-Communication: proven ability to craft and articulate compelling presentations with engaging storytelling for communicating strategies and recommendations

-A passion for Nike – our product, our brand and our mission – and more generally for sports and fashion

-Fluent in English and Korean
