We are currently recruiting for a newly created position of Multi-Brand Planning Manager; this is a full-time position, based in Melbourne, reporting to the Marketplace Planning & Analytics Director. The mission of the Multi-Brand Planning Manager is to lead and manage a team and collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to deliver an actionable perspective on market risk and opportunities; you will engage cross-functional partners to deliver support for and execution against the plans.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Lead and develop Multi-Brand Business and Retail Planners for Fewer/Better accounts and rest of marketplace
  • Work as part of the Geo Multi-Brand Planning and Territory Multi-Brand Senior leadership teams and provide expertise on planning strategies
  • Support planning to ensure Pre-season, In-season and Post-season financial plans represent true market demand across the Multi-Brand
  • Strategic long-range and annual planning - create and execute multi-year planning strategies, including long-range, pre-season, in-season and post-season planning
  • Engage cross-functional partners in S&OP, Merchandising, Finance and Brand to deliver support for and execution against the plans
  • Manage the array of planning tools to provide an informed point of view on current and future sales, profitability and marketplace health

Preference will be given to applicants who have:
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in Buying, Planning, Allocation and/or Vendor Sales for a multi-channel or multi-store retailer or Assortment planning experience with other APP/FW wholesale organisation
  • A comprehensive understanding of retail maths, coupled with experience in gross margin profitability planning
  • Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends
  • Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, proficiency in Excel 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
  • Experience with planning software/tools and merchandise management systems; knowledge of POS data systems would be advantageous
  • Experience leading and managing a large team within own function and cross-functionally
  • The ability to work in a complex matrix environment
  • Solid influencing and negotiating skills
