• As a manager of Korea I+SCC (Inventory and Supply Chain Controlling) team for Direct-Source-To-Pay process, you will take a lead role in our Inventory & COGS accounting processes and controls to enable Nike’s ongoing growth

• Ensure timely and accurate month/quarter end finance closing and reporting for Inventory and COGS

• Work with Supply Chain team to ensure key financial assertions are met with respect to Inventory, COGS and related accounts through development/maintenance of a comprehensive control structure across the transaction stream(s), understanding the processes that ultimately results in the recognition of Inventory, COGS and related accounts

• Manage, Review or perform certain financial reporting and control processes including:
   o Complex journal entries and PPV analysis
   o P&L and B/S flux analysis
   o Account reconciliations for higher-risk areas
   o SOX control activities

• Perform review of key contracts for leases of supply chain and other business services in COGS, providing accounting evaluation and risk analysis

• Perform forecast of statutory COGS accounts to support Transfer Price strategy and quarterly update of gross margin in local GAAP.   

• Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s monthly and quarterly accounting and financial reporting processes
• Develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers of the business while demonstrating mastery of US GAAP, particularly around Inventory, COGS

• Be a subject matter expert on assigned areas, supporting Internal & External Audit and SOX compliance work

• Work closely with cross-functional counterparts on special projects such as business integration
• Participate in the development of ISCC’s strategic objectives and proactively set targets / measurable to enable the team’s success in achieving those goals

• Be a leader within the larger NIKE Finance Organization to manage and coach people to develop the organization, embrace diversity and deliver best practices


• Enthusiasm for the Nike brand
• A minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, finance or related functions• Advanced knowledge of SAP and experience at Big 4 Public accounting experience or CPA preferred
• Proactive, committed, independent, meticulous & responsible, strong analytical skills, resourceful and eye for detail
• Proven success in developing organization operating standards/processes as well as supporting documentation
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks and influence across a large, matrixed organization
• High standards for quality and the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and requests; ability to innovate and navigate through ambiguity
• Proven ability to problem solve and effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts
