Supply Chain Security Manager

Nike, Inc. is a large, complex organization that has a lengthy design to delivery process with both internal and external partners. The Supply Chain Security group builds key relationships, leads cross-functional teams, creates and implements operational processes, identifies security gaps, and develops measures to protect our ideas & product in transit to prevent pilferage, total loss, and leaks.
As a Supply Chain Security Manager (SCSM) you are a liaison between our parent organization Global Security and Nike, Inc. business in all of Mexico. You will serve as an integral part of the overall corporate strategy and security programs by adding security standards and subject matter expertise on the most sensitive and confidential projects as designated by leadership.
This position will be based in Queretaro and serve as the subject matter expert on supply chain security for all of Mexico operations. Providing daily support by ensuring transportation security standards are being properly communicated and met by internal employees, external contractors, vendors and partners. You will travel often and conduct on-site supply chain security assessments of Nike, Nike partners and vendors’ facilities to continuously enhance security awareness & adherence to contractual standards.
Responsible for all Supply Chain Security within the Country of Mexico; Factory first mile, Inbound operations, sorting, storage, VAS, multimodal transportation and delivery as examples.
Directly manage security at main Distribution Center; Physical Security/Manpower, IB & OB secure shipment check in/out process in Queretaro, Mexico.
Conduct Supply Chain Security assessments and ultimately provide security based recommendations with vendors, partners and in identified locations throughout Mexico.
Assess, procure and manage security vendors throughout the transportation network.
Investigate and develop a plan to reduce the information risk concerning product movements throughout the Mexico supply chain.
Develop and manage security of final mile delivery process to accounts throughout Mexico.
Manage and implement the Nike, Inc. Supply Chain Security Program within Mexico, heavily focused on compliance from our Vendors and Partners.
Develop, design and document best practices, processes & procedures relating to supply chain security.
Promote and participate in the Supply Chain Security Awareness/Education Program for Mexico.
Develop, maintain and enhance positive relationships within Mexico, Operations, Global Security and our external partners; transportation and security.
Monitor and report on, to ensure compliance with existing and evolving local, state, federal and international regulations as they relate to product and supply chain security; create appropriate response platforms to support.
Participate in industry, government or other working groups, task forces and committees as appropriate to assure that the interests of Biogen are represented and to maintain a good working knowledge of the overall status of supply chain security within the industry
A Bachelor’s Degree is required, Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years’ experience working in supply chain security, corporate security, industrial security and/or other fields closely related to product security and asset security in Mexico or commensurate operating geography.
Previous professional experience working with sensitive or confidential information in a work environment required.
Experience and knowledge in investigation and case building experience within a supply chain.
Strong experience working with law enforcement agencies and/or military within Mexico
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of global government supply chain programs. Ex: TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO, CCSP, ISO 28000:2007, SCI, etc.
Operating knowledge of the supply chain and global business.
Knowledge of current activities (regulatory, industry) related to product and supply chain security in the pharmaceutical industry Education.
Strong English & Spanish written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present information to a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including senior level leadership required.
