We at NIKE Canada are currently looking for an exceptionally talented Retail Planner to support our Nike Stores and will be based out of our Canadian HQ, Downtown Toronto, ON.

As our Retail Planner, you will:


  • Collaborate with partner accounts on assortments and category plans

  • Participate in the development of category level plans by account

  • Develop style level plans that support seasonal financial plans and enhance brand story-telling

  • Partner with the Merchandise Manager on category plans for each store

  • Create and/or evolve reports to analyze and summarize the business

  • Create and/or evolve tools to plan seasonal sales & inventory at category & gender level

  • Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

  • Frequently communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to management and cross functional partners.

  • Communicate marketing initiative results to all cross functional partners

     

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance
  • 5 years' relevant retail experience in company planning, merchandise planning, allocation or merchandising.
  • 2 years' additional planning experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Strong working knowledge of retail math and financial planning
  • Extensive experience in managing and understanding an open-to-buy
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and influentially, both verbally and in writing, across a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  • Proven experience utilizing data to capture trends to make decisions that will positively impact the business
  • High level proficiency in Excel with a demonstrated history of developing tools and reports utilizing complex formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with cost method of accounting
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment to achieve goals
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
