We are recruiting for the position of Account Executive – Stirling Sports NZ to join the Sales team in New Zealand; this is a full-time role reporting to the Strategic Account Manager. The mission of the Account Executive – Stirling Sports NZ is to drive and elevate the Stirling Sports NZ (and other selected strategic accounts) partnership through a consumer first focus, using planned Consumer Right Assortments (CRA’s). The successful candidate will drive productivity and profitability to achieve set sales targets and drive sustainable, profitable growth aligned to the strategic account plan.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Achieving planned revenue growth and delivering mutual profitability for Stirling Sports and Nike
  • Partnering with the MPA team and Stirling Sports buyers and planners through Business Review meetings
  • Staying engaged with the Stirling Sports business through monthly store visits, gaining marketplace insights and competitor information, enabling greater understanding of the Stirling Sports consumer
  • Leading all Nike communication to Stirling Sports for assigned categories
  • Collaborating with MPA Business Planners, as well as Marketplace Operations
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external
  • Driving an elevated and premium proposition to the consumer through Stirlings Sports 
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet non-negotiable deadlines as set by region and country
  • Ability to think strategically and problem solve
  • Sporting industry product experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Proficient analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
